  1. There are many games children play both outdoor
    and indoor. In winter girls play jackstones, table-
    tennis, cards, and draughts. Boys play skittles, pitch
    and toss, football, and cricket.
    The games we usually play at school are "Ghost in
    the garden", "blocks" "Bird in my pocket," "Ring o' rosies,"
    "The Lady on the Mountain," "Queenie L.O," "Jig," "Slide
    and Sack," "bolours", "Skipping," "Cat and Mouse", "Catching
    a ball", "bock-Tight", "Four Corners."
    Ghost in the Garden:- One girl sits in the corner
    of the garden and another girl acts a mother to the
    children, and sends them in town in the garden
    for something. When they go the ghost chases them
    away. When they go back and tell their mother
    she gets behind her children and brings them up
