    is a pond in it.
The sally lough was so called because there is a lough in it and sally bushes growing on the lough.
The big field got its name because it is very large. There are about six acres in it. There are no stories about any of our fields. The only hollow in our fields that has a name is Tormey's hole. It got its name because there was a family called Tormey living beside the hole. There was a well in that hollow long ago but it was filled up. I live in the townland of Atty Connor, the parish of Rahugh, the Barony of Moycashel, in the County of Westmeath.
