  1. I play tig, hide and seek, and ring o' rosies when there is a lot of children with me. I play cards when they are playing in our house to pass the time.
    On Saturdays I play football and hurling and go for paper-chases.
    This is the way we play paper chase:- two people get a lot of papers and run and drop the papers everywhere they go. Then all the others follow till they catch them.
    We often put a handkerchief on a person's eyes and he runs after us till he catches us.
    We play tug o' war. We get a rope and start to pull until one side is pulled over a certain mark. The side who pulls them over the mark wins the game.
    In summer I play cricket, when the weather is fine.
    We spend a lot of time running races and jumping to see who is the best jumper. We have bicycle races to see who will be able to go fastest.
    In Autumn I often go out picking blackberries for Mammy to make jam, and we go out
