    in places was over 20 feet deep. It lasted for nearly a month in places and in other places for over two months and a lot of birds were smothered up in the snow.

  2. A storm occurred in 1932 on April 935 16th. A big thunder storm occurred in 1935 and lightning hit clamps of turf and burned them up in Knockmore bog.
    There was a rain storm in 1936 near our district it flooded houses, boats and crops. There was a very heavy fall of snow in 1933 and the traffic was held up and many people, horses, cattle and sheep were lost. The snow was eight feet in depth and remained on the ground for three months.
