Peter Bruton.
Informant - Mr J. Bruton - The body of the churn which we have at home is like a short barrel. It is about four feet long and two feet wide. There is a plate of iron on the bottom and on it the name of the company who made it in the year nineteen twenty. The various parts of the churn are, the frame, the body, the handle, and the lid.
Churning is made twice a week in Summer and once a week in Winter. My mother gets ready the churn and everyody else does the churning, and it takes about twenty minutes to churn.
