    expenses of the feast.
    All the women, whose families were invited to the feast, contributed some thing. One woman sent a goose, another woman sent a turkey, another woman sent tea and sugar, and so on.
    About six half-barrels of porter were brought and a great feast was held.
    The bride usually went to the church in the last car, and the bride-groom went first, on horse-back.
    The bride-groom, bride, best man and woman went home in the first car, after the ceremony.
