One night a man who was a stranger was going down a road for a walk in the County Waterford. There was a shop at the of road and the man got refreshments there. While he was there he was asked, did he see anything on his way down, “I saw nothing”,
said the stranger, “ that is very funny” said the owner. After some time the man said,
“I saw a sow and a litter of bonhams”. “That is it”, said the owner that was the mother and the children crying. There was once a house on that road and the owners used always be quarrelling and then the house was cursed.
