  1. Long ago tbere was a castle in Cooly Brown and the people who lived there had a lot of gold. One night they took it out and hid it in a hole in the ground. When these people died there was no trace of the treasure. The people around got suspicious that they hid the gold some where out side.
    One night there were four men coming from Elem Hill. They were coming in a long avenue near the Castle and one of them found an empty sound under his boot and said to the rest of the men that they would search for the gold that must be hidden there. Two of them said that they would go for spades and shovels and search for it. They did, and when they had dug away a lot of the clay
