  2. When Mr. Hunt was owner of the district of Killeagh, he lived in [?]. He kept a large pack of hounds as foxes were very numerous. Some of the foxes killed fowl from a nearby farm. The farmer went to Mr. Hunt with his complaint. As Mr. Hunt did not understand any Irish the farmer returned home again. When he was gone the landlord asked the workman what the farmer said. If you will not give him any compensation he will poison the foxes. Next
