   The old cure for rheumatism was a herb called yarrow. This herb was usually found where ridges were made for potatoes. It is then pounded boiled, and strained and the juice was kept as a drink fasting each morning. The old cure for yellow jaundice was penny leaves and porter and sulphur mixed together and boiled in a pot It is then bottled and a teaspoon taken each morning fasting. The penny leaves are usually found in a woody place.
