70 years ago a man lived in Conna.

    (continued from previous page)
Everybody in the district treated him as a half-fool and they were alway's playing trick's on him. One day he started to dig a well and while he was at his dinner the well fell in.
When he came back he saw the well and put his coat by it then he hid in a ditch nearby. The people came later on and seeing the coat they dug up the earth thinking that he was buried. But, when they had it all dug up the man walked out of the ditch and had a fine laugh at them all.
