  1. Once upon a time there was a journey man blacksmith travelling about from place to place seeking for work. One dark dreary night. when he was walking along the road he began to get sad. He went to a farmers house. When he entered he was welcomed. The woman thought for a minute and suggested to give him shelter for the night in a house that was haunted. He went in and went to bed. Suddenly an old woman appeared and said "I will eat you. "I have no better opinion of you" he said and the old woman disappeared all at once. The man arose in the morning, he was happy.
