After a few weeks they are drawn into the haggard and the good potatoes are sorted and put in a pit by themselves. The small potatoes and the black ones are put in another pit and given to the pigs. The good potatoes are well covered with rushes and earth to keep the frost and rain from them. The good potatoes are used for food. The good potatoes are turned very often and any bad potatoes that are in them are thrown away.
