  1. Many years ago a man, a protestant went up to the altar-rails in the Parish Church Kinsale, and received Holy Communion from the Parish priest. When the man came down from the altar he put the Holy Communion into his kerchief. On reaching home he took out the Sacred Host and began to stick pins in It to see what would happen. Each time a pin tipped It beautiful white streaks appeared. When the priest heard that he had given Holy Communion to such a man he fainted.
    At length the man died, and was buried in the Abbey graveyard, the day of
