  1. There are many local roads in this country which lead to certain places and sometimes a great many roads lead to the same place. For example in my district there are many roads leading to Harbour View or the village of Kilbrittain.
    There are three roads branching from Carey's Cross to Harbour View or Kilbrittain, besides many other (l) roads which lead from Bándon and great number of other towns and villages.
    One of the roads lead from Carey's Cross through Kilbrittain to Harbour View. This road is called the Harbour View Road. It is not very long made, about ninty years ago. There is another road leading from Baurleigh to Harbour View also, which is very old and another from Knockbrown.
    There are also a great number of bohereens round about my district. One leads from the old road to Kilbrittain on to the Harbour View Road. Another is called Bohereen Daingean, and another, named Bohereen Duve.
    There is an old path near Baurleigh which is called the "The Bour of Works"
    Most of those roads are very old. A few are not
