A long time ago there was a priest going on a sick call. As he was going along he heard a beautiful song "Fáinne geal a Taé." He stopped to listen to the beautiful song which was being sung inside the ditch. After a good while it struck him to see who was singing the song. He guided his horse towards the ditch and looked in. There he saw a big black dog. He drove on as fast as he could and he was just in time to catch the man before he died.
