A long time ago there was a priest going on a sick call. As he was going along he heard a beautiful song "Fáinne geal a Taé." He stopped to listen to the beautiful song which was being sung inside the ditch. After a good while it struck him to see who was singing the song. He guided his horse towards the ditch and looked in. There he saw a big black dog. He drove on as fast as he could and he was just in time to catch the man before he died. It was the devil who tried to delay him.
