  1. Song (continued)

As Flora the Queen of the morning Awakened her proud lark to sing...

    (continued from previous page)
    As I seated myself meditating
    handsome fine stone
    Thinking to write the oration
Oo the well known church of sweet home
The Mass bell melodious tolling extending the notes bold and free
Like claps of thunder when rolling
    Soluting good Doctor Covaney
    IV
On a sudden I there took my station
And stopped for some time to admire
    The church of eternal salvation
    Erected with its lofty Spire
All round me a Congregation of friends and relations by name
All paying their respect and obedence
To the Chapel of old Enniskean
    V
A rock is our Chapel Foundation
I cannot be shaken or fall
    It guarded by Heavenly angels
St Peter St John and St Paul
On a short time we will all join in chorus
On Christmas day it will be
A Sermon with lungs so Sonorous
From the Reverend good Doctor Coveney
