  1. There were hedge schools in the village where my Grand-uncle lives now. His name is Owen MacManus. It is near our village. The name of it is Meehambee and the name of the field id Cromlick.
    There were no copies or jotters used in the hedge schools there were only slates. The teachers used to stay in some house near the hedge school.
