  1. My Father is a farmer and he has about twelve acres of land. He tills the greater portion of it and he keeps the rest for grazing. My father prepares the ground. The ground is not manured before being turned up. The greater portion of the potatoes are sown in drills except in the bog; they are sown ridges. The wooden ploughs are not as much in fashion as in the olden times but some people have them yet.
