    and the Board of Work road also leading from Rylane to Kilcullen. In east Rylane there is another old road which serves a passage to "Móin-a tSagairt".
    All the old roads are still used except the Board of Work road already mentioned. It is unknown when Poirsín na gCapall was made, but the Board of Work road was made during the famine times.
    From Glounaglough to Rylane there is an old path. Some people of Glounaglough walk on this path while coming to Mass, as it is a great near way.
    There is a mountain pass from Tureen to Bárr-an-Cárthainn. Long ago people assembled at cross-roads and had dancing there on Sundays.

  2. The names of the local roads that I know of are of follows. The New Line Shaun's Lane, and the Kerry road. The New Line leads from Rylane to Cork. The Kerry roads leads from Rylane to the Kerry bounds. Shaun's Lane leads from the lower cross Rylane to the New Line. People usually assemble at cross roads to pitch and toss on fine
