    Then they put dresses on it. Girls made necklaces out of daisies, and they also made necklaces out of berries off dog briars. They got twine and put the berries on it, and then they have a nice chain.
    Long ago the old people made little shovels out of wood and they also made little out of wood and put four wheels under it for the children to play with.
    These toys which were made at home were better than the foreign made ones, because they would last longer. The children were more careful of them. Very seldom toys are made in the home now.
