  1. About twenty years ago there lived in Ballycuddy a woman named Mrs Whelan. She was very funny and always had god sayings. The night of the big storm nineteen hundred and three when she saw the wind taking the roof off the house she ran out and put the harrow on it. In the morning she said to a neighbour"God was good and merciful but the harrow was my darling."
