    honour wealth & fame.
Success to our Commander grand, who showed justice in the field.
For an hour & twenty minutes, there was no sign of yield.
The boys played on most gallantly for two and thirty rounds,
Till Noonan brave, the ball took fair & drove it through their bounds.
There were five thousand people that day around the field,
Each with an expectation of seeing them bear the shield.
Ladies shaking colours, cheering loud and thrill
Shouting "prosperity attend our boys as their places they did fill.
So now to conclude and finish, my pen I will lay down
Long life attend those sportsmen who gained such great renown.
They showed no animosity but peace & unity God prosper our brave heroes when they fight for victory.
