    'T would make you cry to see them far and wide apart
    Kristiansen's little dining room was burned to the ground
    His cans and little saucepans were rattled all around

    Now to conclude and finish as I have no more to say
    His men worked bravely to the last to clear the flames away
    With courage bold they can uphold the deed of that day
    They did their best they stood the test and Warden far away

  2. Old Remnants

    There are several relics of olden times around Sneem. There is a stone shaped like a cross in Dromtine which contains writing. Several people and visitors went to see it long ago and one of the "Graves" went to see it and he said it was Ogkham writing that was in it, but he could not make out what it was. Nobody has an account of who was buried there but
