  1. There was once a great story teller and singer his name was Phillen Brady his favourite song was ''the Bard of Armagh'' and ''The Boys of the West''.
    His favourite stories were of the Penal times and of how the Priests had to say Mass below rocks and hedge.
    He lived in a little thatched house between Bally-bay and Rockcorry. The best dancers around here were two brothers McMahons they danced the Irish jigs and hornpipes they lived to be very old men in the townland of Cormeen, Drum.
