residence amid touching scenes of grief and sympathy for the bereaved Regan family.
The deceased was employed by a local farmer who stated that on the night before the tragedy he was unable to sleep owing to weird noises around the house. These noises consisted of quick walking loud talking and many rushing here and there. He called the boy Regan to ask him if he could account for the terrible noises but failed to awake him, no matter how he tried. He slept soundly until late that Sunday morning.
Since that tragedy very few if any go for a bathe in "Linn na cloice". The local people believe it to be bewitched and unlucky and fear it much.
It is left in its loneliness - no bathers to disport themselves in its placid waters save one that will always remain in its nudity the large rock at the head of the pool and from this rock the pool derives its name.
