    There is a disease called "the Rose" by the country people and it is cured by some person who gets the herb and says the prayers with it. There is a woman who lives in Rusheen named Miss Healy and she has the cure of the Rose.
    There is another disease called scurvy which people often take from cattle and it is very hard cured. A woman names Mrs Ellis who lives in Carrow-cashel has the cure. She can cure it with some ointment, that she
