  2. A strong woman by the name of Bridie Moriarty brought a sack of potatoes from Maherees on (the) her back and carried them across Bothar na gCloch. Her sister brought a sack of meal up from Dun Abha mill on her back to her house at Curra Dubh. These Finn's were said to be very strong people. They lived at Curra Dubh. Bridie was married at Cathair A’ Chrotaire. A good runner by the name of Mick Scannell caught a hare in run, also Pat Kane caught a hare in run. A good jumper by the name
