    Mountains in Co Down to Croagh Patrick. He travelled along the sea-coast until he came to Sligo and from Sligo he travelled via Collooney, Tubbercurry, Swinford, etc.
    When he came to Rinbane he laid down to rest on the side of the road for the night. He had three goats with him to keep him in milk and while he was asleep during the night a man named McLoughlin stole one of his goats and when St. Patrick awakened and missed his goat he prayed that a goat would never prosper with any of the McLoughlins in this townland and to this day any man of the name of this townland cannot bear the sight of goats.
