    Well bedad as you mentioned about customs for marriage a couple of verses "is comin'" to my mind which I heard long ago and here they are:-
    Marry in green you'll be ashamed to be seen,
    Marry in red you'll wish you were dead,
    Marry in yellow you'll be ashamed of your fellow,
    Marry in black, you'll long to get back,
    Marry in blue, you're sure to be true,
    Marry in grey and you're sure to stay,
    Marry in white and you're sure to go right.
    I just can't bring the rest of it to memory but what about for I have another one and here it is:
    Monday for health,
    Tuesday for wealth,
    And Wendesday the best day of all,
    Thursday for crosses,
    Friday for losses and
    Saturday no day at all.
