ringworm:- As you mentioned about cures a man named Scanlon who was the cure of the ringworm. He lives along the roadside above the creamery in Brookers. I myself seen him cure a man once. To prove he had a cure he told me to bring in as many worms as I liked and that they would die on his hand. This I did and they all dropped off dead.
mumps:- If two people with the same surname marry they have the cure of the mumps.
stys:- The cure of stys is to get ten thorns off a gooseberry bush. Throw the tenth over your right shoulder and point each of the other nine three times at the sty and it will go Another cure is to make the sign of the cross on it three times with a gold ring and it will go
sores:- Cumfrey is good for sore feet or any kind of sores. It also takes the sting of a nettle away A dog will cure any kind of a sore by licking it
a pain in the ear} Black waddin' and some olive oil is good for this ailment.
cuts:- Slanlus is good for a cut and it stops the blood
chin cough:- The food the ferret leaves after him is
