  1. A shipwreck occurred in Enniscrone, about fifty years ago. It happened that in the year eighteen hundred and eighty six, sometime in the month of May. I can not tell the date, but it happened about ten o'clock in the night.
    A ship named the "Rathlee" was coming down from Ballina with a cargo of bog-ore or "red glár" from which glass is made. Bog ore or red glár was got in the bog; it was like red clay mixed with bog-
