  1. I live in a nice townland
    Fearnaught is its name
We boast of its fine land
Though we are humble just the same.
    II

    It is neat and small
And all the people of the parish
    Give it great call.
    III
In my townland there are 15 houses
    All very trim and grand
And not far from me is the river |Shannon
Which gives us heaps of sand.
