The Danes had the secret of how this was to be used. A father and son lived together and they had the secret of how to use it. When the people used to ask them for the method the old fellow said he would give the secret to them if they would kill the son. So they killed the son, and then he asked them to kill himself, and the secret died with him. The father thought if they killed himself first the son would split on him and give away the secret.
