Sédubhairt sí "stop agus na stróic mo chloicín
Ní fios mo nocion ag aon fear sa tír.I vow in honesty my pretty Rosy
That I have a home but no marriage dame.
And if you come with me as far as Lochaill
You'll see my charming dwelling place
All sorts of merchandise lies in your storeroom
And I will clothe you in rich array
We'll have an open cellar both - wine and porter
