    He knew that his neighbour was coming. He put the sheet around him, climbed the fence, and jumped inside. Hardly had his feet touched the ground, when a great wind arose and tore through the trees.
    At the same moment a mighty force lifted him high over the fence, and dashed him to earth in the field, on the other side of the road, where he lay stunned until next morning.
    When his senses came back to him he went home, sick and sore. You may be sure, that this cured him of his desire to frighten his neighbour.
