  1. There was an old man living in Ballyfinton whose name was Thomas Kerins he was living in an old house near the road. He used to go out every night. When he was going home one night he met a white man in the of the road and he gave him a pot of gold, a few nights after he came and asked for the pot of gold, and he had it spent.
