  1. There are four corners on my bed.
Four heavenly angels on them spread
St Matthew, Mark, Luke and John
God Bless the bed that I lay on
This Prayer is said when in bed
    When arising say:
I arise from this bed for the love of Thee
Who didst die on the cross for the love of me
May Jesus of Nazerath, King of the Jews
Preserve me from a sudden and unprepared death.
    Amen
