Conways and Hayes. It is not mentioned in any story or song. The land is good and rich. There is an old Fort on my father's farm and it is supposed that there were seven horses and a mule from Pallas drawing gold for a fortnight to it. There is an iron door leading into it but some years ago the earth fell in around it. A man named John Henshon entered its rooms and he sound many old clay pipes but he did not find the room in which the gold was.
