    and two others with Latin writing. The one with the carving was brought to a place near Elphin Every night the people could hear a voice saying "Bring me back" and it never ceased until the stone was brought back. The water from the well could not be boiled. It is now called Saint Cuan's well but old people say that it was called Saint Kevin's well for generations.
