  1. 1. A very small man about two feet high. He is dressed in red and wears a tall hat and long pointed shoes. He is always busy making shoes. He lives under mushrooms or among tress. I have heard people say that a man named Mike Glynn followed the Leipreachan but he failed to catch him. He could never pass by the place where he tried to catch him but he would hear or see something queer.
    2. ".........He has a pot of gold and if he is caught it can be got from him. My grandmother saw him one night and she asked him what he was doing and he answered 'ag déanamh bróga"....."
