    There was three sisters and they never worked and they had everything they wanted.

    hare and she drank all the milk of the cows on that side of the country. The other went in the form of a horse and took turf and corn and hay when she liked. The other sister used to wait at home and mind the house and at times she went in the form of a big fly or priompalán to see if there was anything they wanted. The old man told him not to go home that night but he gave him tidings of a black greyhound and to tell the man what he wanted from. The man would not give the hound. He said he thought a lot of the dog. He got the dog for one purpose and the man asked him what it was and he said it was a hare that was taking the milk from the cows. He took the dog out when he was nine (mow) months old and set the dog after the hare. The dog was too young and the hare left him behind. He (kef) kept the dog in hope that the hare would come again. She never came again and the stranger told the man that is what he wanted of the dog. He got ready and took his horse and saddle and took the dog in front of him and struck the road for better luck. They arrived at the end of their journey. They slept all day and let their horse rest but they took good care of the dog. At dusk they made a start for the field where the man had his cows. They took cover and had the dog ready. The hare came and drank the milk of one cow and when she started off
