  1. On a hill owned by Mr. Grimes above Mrs. Mc Groarty’s house, in the townland of Coolmore, near Rossnowlagh, in Co. Donegal, there is a fairy fort. It is large and circular in shape. Fairy people were supposed to live in it.
    One time when it was owned by a Mr. Mc Quaid, he sowed cabbage seed in it. In the morning it was padded over with marks of little feet. One other morning when he went out the cow had come out of it and her eye was hanging by a string down her cheek. He put it into its place again and it was all right.

  2. There is supposed to be a great fairy fort in the Acres, a townland near Tullyhurk, near Ballyshannon. She did not get a description of it. Her father,
