    In the townland of Tubber in the parish of Kilbarron [?] there is a hill called the Fort Hill. It is called that because the Danes built a fortress on it when they were in Ireland.
    Lignalore.
    (2) Lignalore is a valley in Tubber. It is so called because it is the valley of the books. There was an old Hedge School in it long ago.
    (3) Tubber.
    This townland, between Cavangarden and Carricknahorna [?] is so called because there are a lot of wells in it.
