  1. Some years ago there was said to be a badger at "Carraig a Bárr". It is situated in the townland of Callow, parish of Killasser, barony of Gallen and in the county of Mayo. He was grey and white and he had two big horns.
    He used to live in rocks and used to stray through them in the night. If he got anybody round it he would eat them.
