    Next day he let her out, and he saw her out on the shore about the same place. She came home in the evening and then he remarked that every day he let her out she went to the shore, and was licking one rock all the time, and then he was surprised to see all the milk she had and her not eating anything but licking a rock on the shore.
    Then one day a few hours after he let her out he went down to the shore to see the rock she was licking. When he arrived at where she was he found it was not a rock atal, but a little wooden box with a lid on it. He took off the lid and found a child in the box. He brought home the child and reared it up, and that is how St Cummin came to Kilcummin. There is an old church in Kilcummin called after,
