    When my grandmother was young a man lived in Cloonalaghan whose sirname was Earley. He was Anthony Earley's grandfather.
    One evening when he was coming home from the fair he was drunk and he a cart all the way out the road before him. He thought it was a real cart, but when he came up to it and tried to leave his hand on it he could not feel any cart [?]. He used run out before it and feel all round with his stick but he could not get any cart although he could see it.
