    Once when the Palmers ruled in Lacken they did their best to get any spare bit of land that was around.
    There was a little island out in the river between Carleys land and McCormicks land which caused a fight.
    Sir Rodger Palmer and Eneas Earley met on the island and fought with sticks but Eneas pushed Sir Rodger into the river and he had won the fight for that day.
