  1. potatoes grow very big in our land. Some people who haven't much help sows only a half-acres while there sow two or three acres. We sow one acre this year.
    First of all myfather prepares the soil by ploughing it and then he makes ridges, puts manure on them, stick the potatoes, sow them by throwing clay on the ridges and after a few days they are moulded.
    I don't remember if any wooden ploughs been used.
    Sometimes when people haven't much help they go in "Cow" that is, two men got together and do a bit of one mans work
